FUNDAMENTALS OF COOKING (ESSENTIAL SKILLS)

Welcome to the Fundamentals of Cooking module, where you will embark on a culinary journey that will equip you with essential skills and techniques needed to excel in the kitchen. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced hobbyist, this class is designed to cater to your needs and elevate your cooking game. Over the course of five sessions, each lasting three hours, you will learn from professional chefs who will guide you through the full range of ingredients and a comprehensive overview of skills.

Course Plan:

Knife Skills

• Vegetable stock, potato leek soup, caesar dressing, caesar salad

Eggs & Doughs

• Poached eggs, English muffin, Hollandaise, Foccaccia

Poultry

• Stuffed chicken leg, breaded chicken, chicken ballotine

Red Meat 

• Rib-eye steak, bearnaise, creamed spinach, lamb chop

Fish & Shellfish

• Papillote, fish & chips, pil pil prawn, tartare sauce
