SKETCHING & SHADING CLASS

No matter how much you know, there is always something more that you can learn in art.

In this class you get to learn about the sketching and shading techniques. As beautiful as it looks, these techniques of art require in depth learning. Both these art forms deal with details of the art piece that the artist tries to draw. The student can be of any age, a child, an adult or even someone who has retired and is trying to learn something on their own.

This class is private and that is to provide full attention to the student. You can ask anything and learn anyway from the personal tutor assigned. The training happens in your own space accordingly.

• Basics of painting
• Basics of sketching
• Basics of shading

Here are some details about what you can expect to learn in each class:

• 1 session: Trial class for still life or landscape drawing with shading.
• 4 sessions: Introduction to drawing, shading, and blending with pencil and charcoal, including still life and portrait study.
• 8 sessions: Advanced level class covering still life, landscape, and portrait drawing using charcoal, pencil, and watercolor pencil.

No prior experience needed

Student needs to bring: Staedtler pencils, A3 book 180 gsm, Charcoal pastels, Charcoal pencils, Color pastels and Paper roll (40cm height). Materials can also be arranged by the instructor for an additional fee of AED 300-500, depending on the learning goals (optional)
